Bir Lahlou (Liberated Territories), 9 January 2022 (SPS) - Units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) on Sunday carried out new attacks against positions of the Moroccan occupation forces in the Mahbas and Awsard sectors, indicated a communiqué of the Ministry of Defense.
According to communiqué 423, units of the Sahrawi Army carried out new attacks against positions of the Moroccan occupation forces in the region of Agrara Fersik in the Mahbas sector and that of Kelb Enos in the Awsard sector.
Advanced detachments of the Sahrawi army had bombarded Saturday entrenchments of the Moroccan occupation forces in the region of Sebkhet Tenoushad (Mahbas sector), according to the same source.
Attacks by the Sahrawi Army continue against the Moroccan occupation forces which are suffering considerable human and material losses along the wall of shame, the communiqué concluded.
