Sacksonia (German) October 15, 2016 (SPS) The region of Sacksonia hosted on Friday a conference of solidarity with the Saharawi people and their just cause, in the presence of Minister of Cooperation, Boulahi Sid, German activists, professors, university students and organizations.
The Minister of Cooperation took the opportunity to inform the participants on latest developments of the question of Western Sahara, underlining the will of Sahrawis to cooperate with the United Nations to find a just and lasting solution that guarantees the right of the Saharawi people for freedom and independence.
He called on all humanitarian organizations to support international efforts to resolve this conflict, and to implement cooperation projects with SADR.
The participants in the conference reaffirmed their support and solidarity with the just cause of the Saharawi people, calling for more activities to raise the awareness of the German public about the reality in Western Sahara. (SPS)
