Bir Lehlou, April 21, 2018 (SPS) President of the Republic; Secretary-General of the Frente POLISARIO, Ibrahim Ghali, on Friday congratulated Miguel Diaz-Canel on his election as the new President of the Council of State and Council of Ministers of the Republic of Cuba.
In his congratulatory message to the new Cuban president, the President of the Republic confirmed that his election reflected his ability to continue the path set by the leaders of the Cuban Revolution, such as Castro and Raul.
The President of the Republic expressed the sincere gratitude of the Sahrawi Government and people for the firm stand and support of the Cuban State for the just cause of the Saharawi people.
The President of the Republic reaffirmed working to further strengthen the bonds of friendship and solidarity between the Sahrawi and Cuba Governments and peoples. (SPS)
