Chahid El-Hafed, March 04, 2020 (SPS) - The Ministry of Public Health of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic has announced that it will strengthen preventive actions against the international alert for coronavirus (COVID19).
Among the first measures, the awareness campaign and prevention communication plan for teachers, parents and students stands out. The campaign began in Wilaya of El Aaiún with the participation of authorities and personnel of MINSAP. During the first day of the campaign, specialists gave lectures to publicize the COVID-19 and the measures to be taken in case of alert.
On March 3 to 13, the authorities will organize actions in all the wilayas to sensitize the population and coordinate actions among all national institutions.
Sources from the Ministry of Public Health have indicated that “although there is no case of Corona Virus in the country, it is necessary to promote actions and emphasize a good communication and awareness strategy so that the entire population can take the greatest possible precaution”.SPS
