Havana (Cuba), June 3, 2017 (SPS) - The President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Brahim Ghali, met Thursday with officials of the Cuban Communist Party, led by Mr. José Ramón Balaguer, member of the party secretariat, who was accompanied by Party leaders.
During the meeting at the party headquarters, Mr. Balaguer renewed, on behalf of the Cuban Communist Party and the Cuban people and leadership, the principled position in favour of the Sahrawi people's struggle for freedom and independence
For his part, the President of the Republic stressed the will of the Sahrawi people to in pursuit their sacred struggle for freedom and independence.
He also emphasized the excellent relations between the two countries and the two brotherly peoples of the Sahrawi Republic and the Republic of Cuba.
President of the Republic continues an official visit to the Republic of Cuba, which he initiated since 25 May, during which he met with Cuban President Raul Castro and a number of Cuban officials. (SPS)
