Pretoria, June 27, 2017 (SPS) - The member of the POLISARIO’s National Secretariat and SADR Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohamed Salem Ould Salek was received yesterday by S.E. President Jacob G. Zuma, President of the Republic of South Africa.
The head of the Saharawi Diolomacy delivered a message from the President of the Saharawi Republic and SG of the Frente POLISARIO, Mr. Brahim Gali ,.
The meeting addressed the latest developments in the national cause at the African and international levels, especially the renewal of South Africa's position in support of the struggle of the Saharawi people, a position emanating from its history and its commitment to the requirements of international legitimacy and the UN Charter and resolutions and the African Union on decolonization, the rejection of occupation and respect for the existing frontiers since independence.
Present at the meeting were Maite Nkoana-Mashabane, Minister of Foreign Affairs of South Africa and Bachir Sghaiar, Saharawi ambassador to the Republic of South Africa.SPS
