Mérida (Spain), December 24, 2017 (SPS) - Mérida Sahara Association on December 18 organized "Arte bajo la Jaima" Gala (Art under the Tent).
The gala, which was attended by 350 people, allowed raising awareness about the situation the Sahrawi people, particularly in the refugee camps.
The Gala also addressed the violation of human rights in the occupied territories of Western Sahara by Morocco.
The Gala took place at the Alcazaba Cultural Center in Mérida and was attended by the Saharawi representative in Extremadura, Allali El Mami, the authorities of the City Council and the Volunteer Platform of the city. (SPS)
