Caracas (Venezuela), August, 31 2017 (SPS) - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela has renewed Venezuela's strong support for the right of the Saharawi people to sovereignty and self-determination, according to a letter received by the Sahrawi Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohamed Salem Ould Salek from his Venezuelan counterpart in response to a congratulatory message on the occasion of his appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela.
Vice Minister Reinaldo Bolivar on behalf of the new foreign minister of Venezuela, Jorge Areatta wished prosperity to the Sahrawi People, stressing that "The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela will continue to advocate before the international community for the respect to the principles of sovereignty and free determination of the Peoples enshrined in the Charter of the United Nations ".
