El-Aaiun (Occupied Territories), November 13, 2017 (SPS) - Moroccan forces, in civil clothes, mobilized Saturday evening hundreds of Moroccan settlers in the streets and alleys of the occupied city of El-Aaiun, after a football match between the Moroccan team and its Ivorian counterpart ended.
Incited by police, crowds of Moroccan settlers stormed the alleys and streets where Sahrawis live, carrying out barbaric attacks against them and raiding their houses and shops and stealing their properties.
Moroccan authorities have always used their settlers as a helping army to intimidate Sahrawis, bringing in thousands of them every year from within Morocco, tempting them with many privileges, it should be recalled. (SPS)
