Kampala (Uganda), April 25, 2023 (SPS) - The Ambassador of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic in Uganda, Mr. Salek Radhi received today, by the Secretary -General of the Ugandan National Resistance Movement, the ruling party NRM, Mr. Richard Todwong, at the party headquarters in Nakasero, Kampala.
The meeting dealt with deepening bilateral relations between the two countries, the Sahrawi Republic and Uganda.
The Sahrawi Ambassador hand over an invitation addressed to the leaders of the Ugandan Resistance Movement by the Polisario Front to attend the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the outbreak of the armed struggle for freedom and independence of the Sahrawi people over their entire national territory.
For his part, the Secretary -General of the Ugandan National Resistance Movement confirmed that the ruling party NRM is committed to its support for the right of the Sahrawi people to self -determination.
