President Brahim Ghali begins a state visit to Uganda

Kampala (Uganda), May 11, 2023 (SPS) - The President of the Republic, the Secretary -General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, begins today, a state visit to Uganda, at the invitation of President Yoweri Museveni.
The two day visit, will allow the discussion of bilateral relations between the two countries, and the latest developments in the Sahrawi issue and issues of common concern.
The visit also falls within the framework of strengthening the rooted brotherhood relations between the two countries and the two brotherly peoples, as well as an opportunity to expand the areas of cooperation.
It is noteworthy that the Republic of Uganda recognizes the Sahrawi Republic since September 6th, 1979. It also has strong and distinguished relations with the Sahrawi Republic at the level of ambassadors.
President Brahim Ghali is accompanied by a delegation that includes the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Mohamed Sidati, Nana Labat Rashid, the adviser to the presidency of the Republic in charge of the media and the Arab world, the ambassador and Director of the Presidency Protocol, Mr. Salha Al -Abd, the military adviser to the Presidency Mr. Ashrif  Bouseif, in addition to the Sahrawi ambassador to Uganda Mr. Salek Sgheir.
