Madrid, May 11, 2011 (SPS) – the study days to support the Saharawi people in its 05th edition, organizing by Spanish universities, opened Wednesday in Madrid, according to the Polisario Front representation in Spain.
The President of the Coordination of Spanish Associations of Solidarity with the Saharawi People (CEAS), José Taboada, called on the Spanish king to contribute in finding a just solution to the conflict due to the historical responsibility of his country.
" we ask the king, Juan Carlos, to advise his Moroccan counterpart and don’t forget the Saharawis" said Taboada, demanding the Spanish government to stop using the Saharawi cause as barter and dispose of its support to the Moroccan autonomy plan .
in a letter to he participants in the study days, the Prime Minister, Abdelkader Taleb Omar, urged Spain to putt pressure on the Moroccan authorities in order to stop its policy of conspiracy and to engage in finding a just and peaceful solution to the conflict.
Taleb Omar confirmed that the Saharawi people will remain strong as the last35 years proved, in spite of the policy of obstruction adopting by Rabat
"Rapat could not affect the Saharawi will, Neither with its belts and policy of repression nor the autonomy plan " the prime minister said in his letter. (SPS)
