Bir Lehlou (Liberated Territories), May 25, 2011 (SPS) - The President of the Republic, Mohamed Abdelaziz, has congratulated the President of the Republic of Guyana, Bharrat Jagdeo, on the 45th Anniversary of the Independence of his country, in a message reached SPS Wednesday.
“On behalf of myself, my Government and the people of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, I would like to extend cordial congratulations to you on the occasion of the 45th Anniversary of the Independence of your Country,” says President Mohamed Abdelaziz in his letter.
“I am delighted to see that for the past years Guyana has become one of the closest friends of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic and that the strong bonds of mutual understanding and support linking our two countries continue growing,” he adds.
President Mohamed Abdelaziz asserted that relationship between the two countries, based on shared values and interests, will be consistently strengthened and deepened for the benefit of our two peoples. (SPS)
