SADR Ambassador in Timor-Leste meets its Deputy Prime Minister

Dili (East Timor) July 25, 2011 (SPS) - The Ambassador of the Saharawi Republic (SADR) in Dili, Mr. Mohamed Salama Badi, met Monday at government palace Mr. José Luís Guterres, East Timorese deputy prime minister, according to the SADR Embassy in Timor-Leste.

The meeting was an opportunity for the Saharawi ambassador to brief to his interlocutor the latest developments on the Saharawi cause, in particular the Polisario eighth Front-Morocco informal meeting, human rights violations committed by the Moroccan regime against the Saharawis and systematic looting to the natural resources of Western Sahara in disregard to the international law and legitimacy.

It was also an opportunity to discuss the bilateral relations existing between the Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic and Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, and ways to consolidate the bonds of friendship to serve the interests of the two brotherly countries and peoples. (SPS)
