Moroccan police arrests two Saharawi minors

El Aaiun (occupied territories), Jan 8, 2011 (SPS) - The Moroccan police arrested Saturday the two Saharawi minors Jawhar Bougarfa, 16 years old, and Mustapha Saydi, 17 years old, near the school where they study in the occupied city of El Aaiun, according to human rights source.

The former Saharawi political prisoner, Abdarahman Bougarfa, that his son Jawhar “was along with a group of pupils chanting slogans calling for the self-determination of the Saharawi people, before they arbitrary arrested by elements of the Moroccan intelligence in civilian clothes and forcefully obliged them to get in to a car belong to the Moroccan police and took them to police station.”

The two Saharawi minors are still incarcerated by the Moroccan police, where they are subjecting to interrogation before their stand before what so-called the public prosecutor, the same source added. (SPS)
