State Minister arrives in Managua to take part in inauguration of Mr. Daniel Ortega

Managua (Nicaragua), Jan 10, 2012 (SPS) - Member of National Secretariat of Polisario Front and State Minister, Mr. Bashir Mustapha Sayed, arrived Monday in capital Mangua to represent President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Abdelaziz, in the inauguration ceremony of the re-elected Nicaraguan President, Mr. Daniel Ortega, according to the SADR Embassy in Nicaragua.

Mr. Bashir Mustapha Sayed received at International Airport Augusto Sandino by high civil and military authorities of the Republic of Nicaragua as well as SADR ambassador, Suliman Tieb Henan.

Inauguration ceremony will take place in the Revolution Square on Tuesday, in the old center of Managua, where the National Assembly will be installed.

The event will be attended by Heads of State, Prime Ministers, the Prince of Spain, Foreign Ministers of and Special Envoys from four continents, SADR embassy in Nicaragua reported.

Mr. Ortega, 66 years old, will assume a new five-year term after being reelected in the elections of 6 November.
Nicaragua recognized the Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic on September 6, 1979, and currently maintains diplomatic relations at the highest level.(SPS)
