Saharawi Republic participate as an observer in the legislative elections of El Salvador

Managua (El Salvador), March 11, 2012 (SPS) - The Ambassador of the Saharawi Republic (SADR) to Nicaragua, Mr. Suleiman Tayeb Hennan, has been invited by the Farabundo Martí National Liberation Front (FMLN) to participate as an observer in the legislative and municipal elections of El Salvador to be held today, according to a statement of the Saharawi Embassy in Nicaragua reached SPS.

People of El Salvador will elect 262 mayors and representatives of local councils, 84 of them will be named as MPs in the Legislative body during the years 2012 to 2015.

On other hand, the Saharawi Ambassador attended, along with several foreign delegations, a ceremony held Friday evening in the capital of El Salvador, during which the Saharawi ambassador met the Vice President of Salvador, member Farabundo Martí National Liberation Front (FMLN) and current Minister of Education, Mr. Salvador Sánchez Cerén.
