Shaheed El Hafed, April 12, 2012 (SPS) - Minister of Culture, Khadija Hamdi has received today delegation from the Spanish city of Navarra comprising of singers and journalists.
During the meeting, Minister Khadija Hamdi thanked the Spanish singers, underlining the music play a significant rule to transmit the Saharawi people’ voice and to break the siege imposed by the Moroccan occupation.
Minister of Culture stated the Saharawi people are fighting at several battles including the cultural, “the Moroccan occupation aims at blurring our national identity”.
The Spanish delegation expressed commitment to continue cooperating with Ministry of Culture.
the delegation consists of the band “the black cloud” and journalist from the magazine “Esacaba”. (SPS)
