Roundtable on promoting SRC’s operational capacities in managing food aid for Saharawi refugees

Saheed Elhafed (Refugee Camps), April 18, 2012 (SPS) - The annual roundtable on promoting the operational capacities of Saharawi Red Croissant (SRC) in managing food aid in favor of Saharawi refugees began today at UNHCER headquarters in Saheed Elhafed.

 

The event organized by SRC in cooperation with Spanish Red Cross and The Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID), with the participation of humanitarian aid organizations working at the Saharawi refugee camps.

 

President of Saharawi Red Croissant, Buhabaini Yahia told SPS "the two-day roundtable aims at promoting and strengthening coordination of food aid programmes in favor of the Sahrawi refugees."

 

Studies focus on the effective management and delivery of humanitarian aid, adequate food basket and SRC professional capacities will be represented, said Buhabaini.
