Reception in occupied El Aaiun honoring released Saharawi political prisoner

El Aaiun (occupied territories), June 23, 2012 (SPS) - The Saharawi masse of occupied El Aaiun have organized a reception on honour of the Saharawi political prisoner Sarir Abd Al-Mutaleb, who released after a month of detention in Black Prison on charges of assaulting a security officer, as informed a source of the Ministry of Occupied Territories and Communities Abroad.


Moroccan forces of occupation have surrounded house of the released prisoner family’s house since Friday, where the reception took place.


During the ceremony, Saharawi masses chanted many national slogans calling for the right of Saharawi people to self-determination and independence; as well they raised flags of the Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic.


Before the ceremony concluded, Moroccan forces attacked Saharawi masses targeting the activists and journalists such as Hayar Rgeibi, who exposed to severe rebuke along with two colleagues when they raided by about twenty policemen, before being transported to the city’s hospital, after he was hit on the back and head level, according to the source.


In relevant context, a group of activists exposed to serious injury of varying degrees like mother of the realesed prisoner Ms. Aicha Sarir, the activist Galia Jomany, Abdelkader Sarir, Abay Abdelaziz, Al-Salami Mohamed, Yusuf Khawaja, Saleh Rgeibi and Babet Ali Salem. (SPS)
