Submitted on

Rabat, June 29, 2012 (SPS) - The court of Moroccan occupation delayed Thursday, for the third consecutive time, trail of the Saharawi students incarcerated in the Moroccan prison of Salé since 16 April 2011 to forthcoming July 12, informed Saharawi human rights sources.

The students are Brahim Shleih, Lehbib Mansour, Ahmed Ayoub, Mohamed Barak, Slima Masaa and Abeilil Said.

Headquarters of the court was surrounded by various security agencies and intelligence agents.

The same court has issued on February 28 an unfair charge, three years in prison and a fine estimated at sixty thousand dirham against the students, in a mock trial lacked to the most basic requirements of fair trial and aims mainly to punish them for their political positions on the issue of Western Sahara and their desperate defense for the their people’s firm right to freedom and independence.

It should be recalled that the group was arrested on April 16, 2011 after confrontations with the authorities of Moroccan occupation, following the heinous crime on the Saharawi martyr Hamadi Hbad. (SPS)
