Shaheed Elhafed (refugee camp), Aug 30, 2012 (SPS) - Head of the Robert-Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights Kerry Kennedy, visiting Wednesday the Sahrawi refugee camps with a delegation made up of international human rights defense organizations, qualified as “remarkable” the organization of everyday life in these camps.

“I visited several refugee camps around the world but the organization of everyday life in the Sahrawi camps is remarkable,” Kennedy said after a meeting with representatives of the Saharawi civil society.

Head of the Robert-Kennedy Center also declared being “admirer” to the peaceful struggle of the Saharawi people for self-determination, saying she’ll promote the Saharawi question in every country she will visit and at organizations which work with the Center.

She also expressed her “gratitude” for the warm welcome by the Saharawis to members of her delegation. (SPS)
