New York, Sept 29, 2012 (SPS) - The Minister for Foreign Affairs of Mauritania, Mr. Hamady Ould Hamady, emphasized Saturday his country’s support to the efforts being made by UN the Secretary-General to find a lasting and mutually agreed upon solution in Western Sahara, speaking at the 67th session of the UN General Assembly.
“The Islamic Republic of Mauritania was closely following with great interest the developments concerning the question of Western Sahara,” pointed out Mr. Ould Hamady, expresses hope to reach a just and lasting solution that would maintain peace and security in the region and contribute to building a prosperous Arab Maghreb.
