in a statement issued on Tuesday, the presidency stated that “The national flags put in Half-mast and cancel the festivities in solidarity with the brotherly People of Venezuela in this painful event and to honor the spirit of this great internationally militant and recognizing his principle positions in favor of People’s rights to self-determination and independence and his standing with the poor and his struggle for the establishment of justice, democracy and peace in the world.
