TIFARITI (Sahrawi Liberated territories)May 21, 2013 (SPS)- The Intifada for independence in the occupied Sahrawi territories, southern Morocco and universities is a "new turning point" in the Sahrawi struggle, started over forty years ago, said Tuesday Sahrawi President Mohamed Abdelaziz

"It is natural that the commemoration of the Intifada for independence and the 40thanniversary of the outbreak of armed struggle underline the importance to pursue this objective," Sahrawi president said in his address on this occasion.

He also underlined how the Intifada for independence adapted to the changes that occurred around the world, and hailed the recent demonstrations staged by Sahrawi citizens "to peacefully protest against the Moroccan occupation."

After warning the Moroccan occupation forces against "the escalation of barbaric suppression," the Sahrawi president said to be "proud of the readiness of Sahrawi army to take up the current challenges."(SPS)
