Occupied El Aaiun: Moroccan authorities crack down on unemployed Saharawis

El Aaiun (occupied territories), Sept 1, 2013 (SPS) - Moroccan occupation authorities have violently intervened against a peaceful sit-in organized by a group of unemployed Saharawis in Mecca Street in the occupied city of El Aaiun, capital of Western Sahara, according to a human rights source.


This violent intervention left many victims including Mahjuba Musaoui, Sinaa Al-Mouhanadi, Al-Khalil Zeinab, Hayat Lambarki, Rachid Hamya, Cheihab Lidrisi, Mohamed Lamin Meska, Bara Hasan, Chreibich Mohamed, Khrairir Sidi Mohamed, Al-Idrisi Mohamed Ali, Al-Sahraoui Mohamed, among others.


The sit-in has witnessed a tight siege by the various intelligence services. (SPS)
