Tanzania urges UN to take “bold actions” vis-à-vis Saharawi people

New York, Sept 29, 2013 (SPS) - “It is high time that the United Nations took bold actions to give the people of Saharawi the opportunity to decide on their fate,” said Friday H.E. Mr. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete, President of the United Republic of Tanzania, in his address before the general debate of the 68th session of the UN General Assembly.

Tanzanian President went on saying that it “is incomprehensible why the Security Council which has been able to handle bigger security challenges cannot decide on the matter for nearly forty years now.” (SPS)
