Chahid Al Hafed (refugee camps), Dec 19, 2013 (SPS) - President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Frente Polisario Mr. Mohamed Abdelaziz received yesterday evening a delegation of 10 members of parliament representing the parliamentary group of the Rally for Algeria’s Hope (TAJ), at the end of a 2-day visit of solidarity with the Saharawi people.
President of the Republic expressed, on behalf of the Saharawi people and government as well as POLISARIO leadership, gratitude for Algeria’s support to the just cause of the Saharawi people.
Head of the delegation, for his part, said that this visit comes in the context of the position of support to the struggle of the Saharawi people for freedom, self-determination and independence adopted by the various Algerian political and intellectual orientations.
During their stay in the Saharawi refugee camps, the Algerian deputies held talks with a number of officials in the Polisario Front and Saharawi Government.
They also visited some social and cultural infrastructures in the Saharawi wilayas.
The delegation, moreover, held on Wednesday a working session with the Saharawi National Council (Parliament). (SPS)
