Chahid Al Hafed (refugee camps), Jan 22, 2014 (SPS) - The Personal Envoy of the Secretary General of the United Nations for Western Sahara, Mr. Christopher Ross, holds in these moments at Dar Diaf (Guest House), in the Saharawi refugee camps, a working meeting with the Polisario Front’s delegation to the negotiations with Morocco.
The meeting is attended by the Saharawi party by Mr. Khatri Addouh, Speaker of the Parliament and head of the delegation to the negotiations with Morocco, Mr. Boukhari Ahmed, Representative to the UN, and Mr. Mhamed Khadda, Coordinator with the MINURSO.
It should be recalled that Mr. Ross arrived this afternoon in the Saharawi refugee camps as part of his new tour in the region, which aims to move forward the path of negotiations and the stalled settlement efforts, according to a source close to the Saharawi delegation to the negotiations.
The UN envoy was received at the airport by Polisario Front’s Representative to the United Nations Mr. Boukhari Ahmed.
During his two-day visit to the Saharawi refugee camps, Mr. Ross will hold several meetings with leadership of the Frente Polisario. (SPS)
