Nigerian delegation on visit to Sahrawi refugee camps

Abuja (Nigeria), March 2, 2014 (SPS) - A high-level Nigerian delegation visits Tuesday the Sahrawi refugee camps to deliver aid donation for Sahrawi women, according to the Sahrawi embassy in Abuja.
 
The Sahrawi ambassador to Nigeria, Mr. Abbi Bashir Bushraya, indicated in a statement to SPS that the ministrial delegation will deliver humanitarian aid donated by the First Lady, Mrs. Patience Jonathan, to Sahrawi women in the refugee camps. 
 
The delegation is led by the Minister of State in charge of the capital Abuja and includes advisors to Nigeria President Jonathan Goodluck in Women's Affairs as well as prominent feminist figures in addition to members of the Nigerian Relief Agency and Nigerian  Ambassador to Algeria. 
 
The visit takes one day where the delegation will attend solidarity festival in the wilaya of Smara and visit some institutions, according to the source. (SPS)
