Lilongwe, March 6, 2014 (SPS) - Mr. Salha Al-Abd presented today, Thursday, his letter of credence as an extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of the Saharawi Republic (SADR) in Malawi to the President of the Republic of Malawi H.E. Mrs. Joyce Banda.
The accreditation of Mr. Salha Al-Abd to the Republic of Malawi comes just days after Mr. Bah Mad was accredited to the Republic of Kenya.
The Republic of Malawi recognized the SADR since November 16the, 1994.
It has ever rsince adopted a foreign policy based on the support for Saharawi people’s rights to self-determination and independence.
Malawi is located in southern Africa. It is member state of the Southern African Development Community (known as; SADC). (SPS)
