Smara (refugee camps), June 25, 2014 (SPS) - Minister of Defense Mr. Mohamed Lamine El Bouhali reiterated Wednesday the "commitment" of the Saharawi Popular Liberation Army to continuing the struggle for the recovery of sovereignty over the entire national territory.

In a speech on the occasion of the end of the training year in Chahid El Ouali military school, the Saharawi Minister of Defence stressed that the Saharawi army "is determined to pursue its legitimate struggle to recover freedom and independence."

El Bouhali denounced the expansionist policy of the Moroccan occupier which contributes, he said, to the increase of insecurity and instability in the region.

After hailing the rigor and discipline shown by the Saharawi soldiers during the training period, El Bouhali reiterated, on behalf of the Sahrawi army, "full solidarity with the Saharawi prisoners" in Moroccan jails.

Moreover, the official praised the peaceful struggle of the Saharawi people in the occupied regions and denounced the serious violations of human rights by the Moroccan authorities.

The closing ceremony was attended by the President of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) Mohamed Abdelaziz, members of the government and the National Secretariat of the Polisario and an Algerian delegation on visit to the Saharawi refugee camps. (SPS)
