Forli (Bologna), Dec. 6, 2014 (SPS) - The prestigious University of Bologna hosted an important conference Friday Sahrawi issue entitled "The EU and the United Nations in dealing with crisis and conflict: the case of Western Sahara "in the light of international law and the policies of the European Union.
Theconference was attended by representatives of the European Parliament, the UN and the African Union in addition to the experts and professors of this university.
A large audience attended this conference where a round table was organized on the occasion, during which the participants reiterated the need for the independence of Western Sahara as a solution to the Western Sahara conflict.
The economicagreements between the EU and Morocco have been described by international experts as a flagrant violation of human rights and violation of UN resolutions for the decolonization of Western Sahara.
The Italianand European politicians have stressed the importance of their role in saving the humanitarian, economic and political discrimination of the last African people waiting for independence and freedom. (SPS)
