Polisario Front participates in 6th congress of ZANU-PF

Harare, December 9, 2014 (SPS) - A Saharawi delegation led by the Minister of State for Africa, Hamdi Boueha, took part in the work of the sixth congress of the ruling ZANU-PF party, which was held from December 5-7, in Harare , according to Sahrawi diplomatic sources in Zimbabwe.

 

 The Special Envoy of the President of the Republic, who spoke during the opening session of the Congress, recalled the historic solidarity ties between Zanu-PF and the Frente POLISARIO and welcomed the firm position of support of the Zimbabwean government to the Saharawi people in their struggle for independence.

 

The Saharawi diplomat arrived in Zimbabwe on Thursday to take part in the event at the official invitation of ZANUP-PF (The Zimbabwe African National Union – Patriotic Front). He was greeted at Harare International Airport by party officials, Foreign Ministry and the officials of the Saharawi embassy to Zimbabwe.

 

The Saharawi delegationhad several meetings with officials of the party and government of the Republic of Zimbabwe, the source added. (SPS)
