Ocupied El Aaiun, Dec 29, 2014, (SPS)- The Collective of Sahrawi Human Rights Defenders (CODESA) has expressed “deep” concern about the fate of the issue of the Saharawi political prisoner Embarek Daoudi, stressing that Moroccan authorities is delaying in order to keep him in custody, as long as possible without a trial.
In a statement issued Monday morning, CODESA stressed "that the Moroccan authorities still avoid setting a new date for his trial, after he stopped the open hunger strike, because they gave him a commitment to present him before the court on 25th of this month”.
The statement added that Embarek Daoudi is in a bad situation, especially after the deterioration of his health, due to the open hunger strike he started since the beginning of November 2014.
It should be recalled, that the Saharawi political prisoner Embarek Daoudi, arrested on September 29, 2013 by a group of Moroccan police officers in the city of Gleimim, southern Moroccan. (SPS)
