Wilaya of Smara (refugee camps) February 27, 2015 (SPS) – The celebration commemorating the 39th anniversary of the Sahrawi Arab Republic Democratic (SADR) started Friday in the presence of the Prime Minister, Mr. Abdelkader Taleb Omar, members of the National Secretariat and government, foreign delegates from around the world, and a delegation coming from the occupied territories.
The celebration, held in conjunction with the closing of the International Conference of Culture and the demonstration "Sahara Marathon", was marked by parades of schools children and folkloric groups reflecting the diversity and richness of the Sahrawi culture.
Also a picture representing the national campaign to stop the looting of the natural resources "Stop looting our natural resources, we want our freedom," produced by Sahrawi civil society, was displayed. (SPS)
