Sahrawi Prime Minister reaffirms Sahrawi people’s determination to continue fight to build independent State

Smara (refugee camps)- Prime Minister Abdelkader Taleb Oumar reaffirmed Saturday in Smara “the Sahrawi people’s determination to continue their fight for the edification of their independent and sovereign State.”

 

In a speech on the occasion of the 39th anniversary of the proclamation of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR), Taleb Oumar denounced “Morocco’s persistent prevarication towards the United Nations’ efforts aimed at settling the Western Sahara conflict.”

 

Sahrawi Prime Minister called the UN to “increase the efforts aimed at organizing a free, democratic and regular referendum that allows the Sahrawi people to exercise their right to self-determination.”

 

The festivities commemorating the celebration of the 39th anniversary of the proclamation of the SADR included the participation of delegations representing more than 30 countries.

 

The foreign delegation taking part in these festivities expressed their “full” solidarity with the Sahrawi people and their fight for freedom and self-determination. (SPS)
