Ait Malul (Morocco), March 15, 2015 (SPS) - Saharawi political prisoner Mbarek Daudi began Thursday unlimited hunger strike after his transfer to the Moroccan prison of Ait Malul, according to a Sahrawi human rights source.

The source added that the hunger strike is to denounce the brutal transfer after being sentenced by the Court of Guleimim to three months in prison and a fine estimated at one thousand Dirhams.

It should be recalled that political prisoner Mbarek Daudi was arrested on September 29, 2013, in Guleimim (southern Morocco), as part of a campaign of arrests against Saharawi, especially human rights defenders. (SPS)
