Bir Lehlu (Liberated Territories), 30 May 2014 (SPS) - The President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Mohamed Abdelaziz, reiterated Thursday in a letter to the delegates of the 10th Congress of the Algerian National Liberation Front  that the Saharawi people is determined to continue fighting to achieve their goals in freedom and independence.

He also praised the role of Algeria in the battle for the liberation and decolonization of Algeria, Africa and the world.

President Mohamed Abdelaziz expressed satisfaction with the distinctive and historical relations between the Polisario Front and the Algerian National Liberation Front and their support for the struggle of the Saharawi people.

He renewed the commitment to further deepen fraternity, friendship and excellent relations between the Algerian National Liberation Front and the Polisario front.

The President of the Republic denounced the repressive practices and the continuing violations of human rights in the occupied territories committed by the Moroccan occupation and its policy of intransigence which prevents any effort by the international community for the decolonization of the last colony in Africa.

He called on the international community to work strictly to enforce the application of international legitimacy and to exert pressure and sanctions on Morocco to end its illegal military occupation of Western Sahara. (SPS)
