Havana (Cuba), June 7, 2015 (SPS) - Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould salek visited on Thursday the Republic of Cuba; where he was received by his Cuban counterpart, Mr. Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, they discussed the ties between the two countries and exchange views about regional and international issues. The meeting was attended by Saharawi Ambassador Mr. Malainin Etgana.
Cuban minister stressed “his country's principled and firm position towards the struggle of the Saharawi people in order to complete national sovereignty”.
The head of the Sahrawi diplomacy met also high officials in the Cuban Communist Party at the headquarters of the party, where he was reviewed bilateral relations between the two revolutions over more than four decades.
Sahrawi Minister expressed on behalf of the Sahrawi leadership’s thanks to the Cuban revolution and its historical leadership on their positions towards the Saharawi people struggle.
From his party, Cuban official reaffirmed that this position reflects the conviction of Cuba toward the struggle of all the peoples, especially the Sahrawi people struggle under the leadership of the Polisario Front. SPS
