Essen (Belgium), July 6, 2015 (SPS) - Sahrawi Community Association in Belgium took part Sunday in the activities of the Cultural Flamenco Festival, organized in Essen, northern Belgium, which saw large international participation.
The cultural festival was an opportunity to raise awareness on the culture of the Saharawi people and their just cause, by building a Sahrawi traditional tent with traditional instruments highlighting the distinction of the culture and identity of the Saharawi people and variation of their customs and traditions.
The Sahrawi Community Association briefed the participants in the Flamenco Festival on the miserable situation of gross violations of human rights committed by the Morocco against the Saharawi people in the occupied territories of Western Sahara.
The organizers of the festival praised the participation of the Sahrawi community, which won the admiration of participants, and the Sahrawi Community Association in Belgium to take part in the next year's festival (SPS)
