ASVDH condemns Moroccan attacks against Sahrawi journalists

 El Aaiun (Occupied Territories), September 19, 2015 (SPS) The Saharawi Association of Victims of Grave Violations of Human Rights committed by the Moroccan State (ASVDH) has "strongly" condemned the attacks and provocations perpetrated by the Moroccan occupier against Sahrawi journalists.

 

 In a statement a copy of which received by SPS, the Sahrawi Association called on the United Nations and all international organizations to exert pressure on the Moroccan state of occupation to guarantee the protection of Saharawi journalists in the occupied parts of Western Sahara.

 

 It expressed its solidarity with the Saharawi journalists Mahmoud Elhaissen and Mohamed Mayara who were subjected to provocations and assaults by the Moroccan forces of occupation.

 

ASVDH called on the international community to exert pressure on the Kingdom of Morocco to lift the military and media siege imposed on the occupied territories of Western Sahara. (SPS)
