Bir-Lehlu (liberated territories), October 12, 2015 (SPS) The President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Mohamed Abdelaziz, reiterated the attachment of the Saharawi people to pursue its liberation struggle to recover their legitimate rights to self-determination and independence, during the festivities celebrating the National Unity Day liberated town of Bir-Lehlu.
"Over forty years of resistance, struggle and achievements on the regional, continental and international, have shown that nothing will prevent the Saharawis to recover their rights," stressed the President of the Republic who delivered a speech Monday on this occasion.
"The oppressed Sahrawi people is leading a heroic struggle on behalf of all humanity, because it remains committed to its values and ideals and to defend the UN Charter and decisions, in particular the right of peoples to self self-determination, independence and human rights, "he recalled.
"The declaration of national unity, October 12, 1975, was the time of break with the colonial policies that encourage destructive ignorance, slavery and tribalism, a moment through which the Sahrawis have demonstrated conscience and understanding that their salvation lies in their unity and cohesion, expressing their full and voluntary participation in the path of liberation and construction ", estimated the president.
"On this occasion, we are called more than ever to preserve the unity that foiled all the Moroccan attempts to divide our people despite the suffering and sacrifice of this people," he added.
The President of the Republic welcomed all the delegations that took part in these historic events in the struggle of the Saharawi people, particularly from South Africa, Algeria, Egypt, Tunisia, Spain and others, expressing his congratulations to brother and friend countries to the Saharawi people in particular Algeria, led by his Excellency President Abdelaziz Bouteflika.
