Dakhla (Refugee Camps), December 20, 2015 (SPS) - The Uruguayan Broad Front (Frente Amplio) stressed the need to find a peaceful solution to the conflict in Western Sahara ensuring the right of the Saharawi people to self-determination independence.
"We are willing to strengthen ties of friendship with the Saharawi people and we are committed to the need to find a peaceful solution to the conflict in Western Sahara," said the party in a message to the XIV Congress of the Polisario Front, held in Dakhla from 16 to 20 December, under the name of Martyr Khalil Sid M'Hamed and the theme "strength, determination and will to impose independence and sovereignty"
The party said that it is very knowledgeable about the suffering of the Sahrawi people and their struggle, and aware that the Sahrawi people have been waiting so long for a peaceful solution to the conflict in Western Sahara. (SPS)
