Dakhla (refugee camps), December 23, 2015 (SPS) -The Polisario Front welcomed Wednesday at the completion of its 14th Congress, "historic, courageous and in principle" position of Algeria vis-à-vis the cause of the Saharawi people and its right to self-determination and independence.
In its final communiqué, the Polisario Front welcomed the unconditional and unwavering support of Algeria to the Saharawi people in their struggle for independence, bowing the "historic, courageous and in principle" of the Algerian, government and people, headed by President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika, with regard to the cause of the Saharawi people. This support reflects, he argued, "the fidelity of Algeria to the principles of the glorious revolution of November 1".
The Polisario Front also welcomed the distinguished participation of the Algerian delegation in the works of the congress.
In the same context, the Saharawi authorities have paid tribute to the friendly delegations, representing governments and political parties, personalities and representatives of civil society from Africa, Europe, Latin America and the Arab world who attended the conference. (SPS)
