Addis Ababa, Jan 29, 2016 (SPS) Prime Minister Abdelkader Taleb Omar, arrived Friday in Addis Ababa, to represent the President of the Republic, Mohamed Abdelaziz, in the 26th ordinary summit of Heads State and government of the African Union scheduled for January 30-31.
The Prime Minister is accompanied by Mohamed Salem Ould Salek, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fatma El Mehdi, SG of the National Union of Saharawi Women, Mahfuda Mohamed Rahel, Minister of Social Affairs and Promotion of Women, Hamdi Khalil Mayara, Minister for African Affairs, Abba Salek El Haisen, president of the Saharawi Committee on human Rights, Leman Baali, ambassador to Ethiopia, permanant representative of SADR to the AU.
The 26th AU summit is held under the theme “2016 African Year of Human Rights with a particular focus on the Rights of Women.” (SPS)
