Birlehlu (liberated territories), Feb 05, 2016 (SPS) The president of the Republic, Secretary General of the Frente Polisario, Mohamed Abdelaziz, published Thursday, a presidential decree for the establishment of a national committee to oversee the political conferences for the election of the members of the National Council (Parliament).
The national committee for supervision of the elections is led by Brahim Gahli, in charge of the Political Organization of the Polisario Front, in addition to 131 members of the Government, members of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front, members of the National Council, and state executives.
The election of members of the National Council for the first mandate following the 14th congress of the Polisario Front is in accordance with the constitution and the law of the Sahrawi Republic. (SPS)
