Bir Lehlou (Liberated Territories), August 07, 2024 (SPS) - The President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, expressed gratitude to his Mauritanian counterpart, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, for the warm reception and hospitality he received during his attendance to the investiture ceremony of Mauritanian President-elect for a second term.
President Brahim Ghali said in his message of gratitude that "such hospitality is not strange to the brotherly Mauritanian people," noting,” that it is a natural reflection of the strength of the deep-rooted relations and the solidity of the deep-rooted ties, based on brotherhood, friendship, neighborhood and common destiny, that bind the two brotherly peoples of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania and the Sahrawi Republic”.
The President of the Republic affirmed to his Mauritanian counterpart the sincere will and firm determination to consolidate these relations, strengthen these ties and intensify communication and cooperation in the service of the aspirations of the two peoples and to consecrate peace, security and stability in the region, in the face of the dangers and threats looming over it.
President Brahim Ghali renewed his congratulations to his counterpart, President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, wishing him success in his noble missions, and further progress and stability for the brotherly Mauritanian people.
