Nouakchott (Mauritania), July 31, 2024 (SPS) - The President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, arrived in Nouakchott today, to attend the inauguration ceremony of the President of the Republic of Mauritania, President-elect Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani for a second term.
President Brahim Ghali was received at the Oumtounsy International Airport by the Mauritanian Prime Minister Mr. Mohamed Ould Bilal Messaoud, accompanied by a number of members of the government, the Director of the Prime Minister's Office, the Mayor of Nouakchott West, and the President of the Nouakchott Region.
President of Republic is accompanied by a delegation including the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Member of the National Secretariat Mfr. Mohamed Sidati, the Mayor of Smara, Member of the National Secretariat, Mr. Azza Babbih, the National Director of Security, Documentation and Protection of Institutions, Mr. Hamma Malou, the Ambassador in Charge of Presidential Protocol, Mr. Salha Al-Abd, and the Advisor in Charge of the Arab World, Ms. Nana Labbat Rachid.
