National Secretariat holds its third ordinary session to discuss developments of Sahrawi issue

Shaheed Al Hafed, 26 November, 2023 (SPS) - President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, chaired Saturday the work of the third ordinary session of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front.

The third ordinary session of the National Secretariat will work to identify the major tasks of the stage, through a deep discussion and analysis of the national issue, in light of the decisions of the sixteenth congress of the Polisario Front and the decisions of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front, especially in the period since the last ordinary session, through the review of the report submitted to this session by the Permanent Bureau of the National Secretariat and its complementary presentations.

In his opening speech, the President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, explained that the report and presentations are based on the reports of the committees of the National Secretariat, and they address the political, organizational, defense and security, occupied territory and communities, administrative, social, and economic fields, as well as the field of foreign affairs, media, and protocol, in addition to the developments taking place in the region and the international arena in general.

President Brahim Ghali expressed his satisfaction with the tremendous and continuous efforts of the fighters of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army, both through the implementation of continental and emergency programs, and particularly through the continued and steadfast work in the field of combat against the forces of the Moroccan occupation state, since its blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement on November 13, 2020.

He also greeted, on this occasion, the masses of Sahrawi people in the occupied territories and southern Morocco as they continue resistance with determination and perseverance.
